Getting a dive off a computer is two transfers. Connecting reads the dive list, one line per dive the computer holds. Opening a dive downloads the recording, the dive second by second, one at a time and only when you ask.

The dive list
The list fills the moment the header reads Online. Each line carries:
- Dive number: the computer’s own numbering.
- Start and end time: the computer’s clock, as it wrote it.
- Duration: total dive time.
- Max depth, average depth: in the computer’s depth unit.
- Mode:
CC/BO,OC Tec,Gauge,OC Rec,Freediveand so on.
That lists every dive by date, duration and depth, but cannot draw a profile or compare the dive against a plan. The app gives up on reading the list after 40 seconds.
Downloading a recording
The recording holds one reading every few seconds: depth, the gas breathed, ppO₂ and setpoint, the decompression ceiling, time to surface, CNS, temperature, and tank pressure where the computer has it. It also carries the settings the dive started on.

The dive then opens on the Graph tab with a profile and a reading count in
its header. One you have not downloaded shows Dive log not downloaded.
instead, and its row is dimmed when the computer is offline too. Download time
depends on the dive rather than the connection; the app gives up on a single dive
after two minutes.
What reaches your account
A dive is written to the device first and sent to your account afterwards; if that fails, sending is retried. Dives stay on the device you downloaded them to, so they open without the computer present. Three things sync:
- The computer: its name, and once a dive is downloaded, its serial number, model and firmware version.
- The dive list: one line per dive.
- The recording: the dive as the computer wrote it, plus the CNS percentage and the number of readings.
Dives are private to you unless recorded against a course you have joined; see Courses. Deleting a dive deletes its recording. There is no manual entry and no file import: the review screen’s empty state says “Import a dive log from your computer”, which means download it over Bluetooth.
