The Finalize step names the plan, closes it out with a printable report and, if you are signed in, keeps it on your account so it is there on your other devices and visible to the divers you invited. It is the third and last step in the rail.
Finalizing

Open the Finalize step. Its header reads Finalize Plan, and the key readouts from the Review step sit above the form.

Set the Plan Name. It is pre-filled from the New Dive Plan dialogue. Leaving it empty keeps that original name rather than saving an untitled plan.

Add Notes. A free-text field for site conditions, team notes and equipment reminders.

Check the summary. Below the fields: the number of gas mixes, the algorithm, the date and location if they were set, and the same full settings listing as the Review step’s Settings view.

Press Finalize Plan. A Finalized tick appears, and Export PDF and View Report join the buttons. The button itself becomes Unfinalize, which reopens the plan as a draft.
The date and location appear alongside the name in your plan list, so name the plan for what is different about it. Once a finalized plan’s date and time have passed, it reads Completed rather than Finalized, in the plan list and on the report.
Team readiness
On a plan with a team, an invited diver sees the same step with the name and notes read-only, and one button: Mark as Reviewed. Pressing it records that they have read the plan as configured; it then reads Ready · Tap to withdraw. A Team Readiness panel below the card lists every member and where they stand, and the owner is told plainly when divers have not reviewed the plan. The same readiness appears on the report’s cover, so a printed plan shows who had signed off on it.
The report
The report is the whole plan as one document. It opens with a cover page: the DiveLogic mark, the plan’s name, date, time and location, the key figures (max depth, total runtime, TTS, first stop, CNS, OTU and the algorithm), the notes, the dive team with each member’s role and readiness, and the plan’s standing: Draft, Finalized or Completed. Numbered sections follow: the profile and levels, the decompression schedule (with bailout scenarios on a rebreather plan), the gas plan and consumption, the full parameter listing, and any warnings.
Print sits in its toolbar. The printed document is a clean white branded report whatever theme the app is in, one section per page, with the plan’s name repeated in every page’s footer. Close, or Escape, returns to the planner.
What is kept
A saved plan carries the levels, the gas list and every setting exactly as it was when you saved. Nothing is recomputed on the way in, so reopening it gives you the plan you saved, on the algorithm you saved it on. The name, date, location and notes travel with it, as do the setpoints, bailout rates and scrubber duration of a rebreather plan.
A plan with a team also keeps the shared configuration every member’s schedule is computed from, alongside each member’s own settings. Your plan list holds the plans you created and the plans you were invited to and accepted.
Deleting and leaving
If you own the plan, you can delete it. Deleting removes it for everyone: the team’s memberships and any outstanding invitations go with it, and there is no version to recover it from. An owner cannot leave their own plan; removing yourself means deleting it.
If you were invited, you cannot delete the plan, only leave it. Leaving removes your membership and your personal dive settings for that plan, and nothing else. The plan carries on, and the owner sees you go.
