Settings → Preferences holds three settings. The first belongs to the device you are looking at; the other two are saved to your account.
Appearance
DiveLogic ships two themes: Cabin, the dark one, built for a dim liveaboard cabin, and Deck, the light one, for a boat deck at 11 am with sun on the screen. System follows the operating system’s own light/dark setting, Light pins the light theme regardless of it, and Dark pins the dark theme. Dark is the default, not System.
The change applies immediately, and the note under the control says the rest: Applies to this device. Each machine you sign in on keeps its own answer, so a phone on deck and a laptop in a cabin can each be set correctly. In a browser with private browsing on, the setting cannot be remembered at all and the app opens in Dark every time.
Language
English is the only language shipped. Press Save to commit it; the button stays disabled until something changes.
Units
Metric or Imperial, saved to your account and remembered, but nothing acts on it yet. The control carries its own description in the app: “Saved to your account. DiveLogic’s planner and logs are metric-only today, so this choice doesn’t change any numbers shown in the app yet.”
Setting Imperial does not convert a depth, pressure or volume anywhere in the planner, the log or the schedule. It shares the Save button with Language.
