Subscription and billing

Read your current tier and allowance, change plan, apply for instructor access, and find your card and past payments.

Settings → Subscription answers what plan you are on, and Settings → Billing answers what you have been charged for it.

Current plan

The current plan, on a paid account part way through its allowance
  • Name: the tier, with its one-line description.
  • Price: either Free, or an amount and / month.
  • Allowance meter: a sentence saying where your Tunang usage stands.
  • Period: Refreshes on …, Your plan ends on …, or This allowance does not refresh.

Tier names, prices and allowances are set by DiveLogic and can move, so a tier’s figures are whatever this screen says today. The tier a new account lands on grants a one-time allowance rather than a monthly one: once it is spent it does not come back, and changing tier is the way forward.

Change plan

The plan-change control on a paid account, offering the move back to free

One control at a time, never more, and which one it is depends on where the account stands.

  • Upgrade: the button reads Upgrade to <tier>. Pressing it opens the payment provider’s checkout in your browser. Where a paid tier cannot be bought yet, the button is replaced by “This plan is not available for checkout yet.”
  • Downgrade: you keep the current tier until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to the free plan. The line above the button states the date. Nothing is cut off mid-period.
  • Resume: offered once you have downgraded, to undo it. The section reads “Your plan will not renew. Access continues until the end of the current period.”

A failed payment does not immediately remove access: “Your allowance continues while the payment is retried. Update your card on the Billing tab.”

Instructor access

The instructor access prompt on an account without instructor tools

Instructor tools unlock the Courses and Ledger sections of the navigation rail. Being a student on a course needs none of it.

  1. In Instructor access, press Apply. The modal says “Applications are reviewed by a person and followed up by email.”

  2. Purpose is the only required field. Fill in Years of experience, Agency, Instructor number and Message as far as they apply.

  3. Submit. The button changes to View application while the request is open.

  4. On approval the section reads “Approved.” and offers Switch to <tier>. Approval does not move you automatically; you take the tier yourself. On refusal it shows the reviewer’s note, or “No reason was given.”

Payment method

The card on file for a paid account

Cards are handled by Stripe, so changing one hands you to the payment provider and back; DiveLogic never stores card numbers.

Billing history

Two months of paid invoices

Each past payment lists its amount, currency, status and date, with links to the provider’s own invoice and PDF. Billing history is what you have paid DiveLogic. The Ledger is what your customers owe you.
