The interface is three layers wide: a navigation rail that chooses the section, a drawer that lists what is in it, and the working surface filling the rest of the window. There is no menu bar, no toolbar and no global search.
The rail

Courses and Ledger appear only on an instructor account. Your own account sits pinned below the destinations: a Sign in row when signed out, a chip with your picture and first name when signed in.
The drawer
Four sections open a drawer between the rail and the working surface. Selecting the same section again closes it.

The drawer selects; it never edits. Logs is the one that goes two levels deep: it opens on the list of computers, and choosing one replaces the list with that computer’s dives behind a Computers back link.
On a phone
The rail becomes a tab bar across the bottom, reading Plans · Logs · + · Post-Dive · Chat. The raised + is an action rather than a destination: it opens the new-plan dialogue. Home leaves the bar, and your account chip moves into the header beside the notification bell.
Where settings live
Your account chip opens the account area, where Settings has five tabs: Profile, Security, Preferences, Subscription and Billing.
Nothing about a dive is configured there. Algorithm, gradient factors, ascent rates, water type, breathing rates and setpoints all belong to the plan that uses them, and are edited on the planner’s Plan step.
