Every screen

Every screen in DiveLogic, how you reach it, what is on it, and which ones need instructor tools.

Updated View as Markdown

Every screen in the app, grouped by the rail entry it sits behind. DiveLogic shows the sign-in screen and nothing else until you are signed in.

The rail

Seven destinations down the left edge, which becomes the tab bar across the bottom on a phone. Two of them appear only on an account with instructor tools.

Rail entry What is there Needs instructor tools
Home The dashboard, and the way into a new plan
Courses Courses you teach or are enrolled on Yes
Plans The planner: building, computing and reviewing a plan
Logs Dive computers and the dives downloaded from them
Post-Dive Reviews of dives you have already made
Chat Tunang
Ledger Invoices, customers, catalogue and payouts Yes

Pinned below them is your account chip, which is the way into Settings. The rail below is an account without instructor tools, with Plans in use.

Planning

Screen How you reach it What is there
Planner Rail → Plans The active plan. The header carries the Plan → Review → Save steps.
Plan step The planner’s first step Every setting for the dive, in tabbed sections: levels, gases, rates, environment, decompression, consumption, CCR, air breaks, ICD.
Review step The planner’s second step The profile chart, the summary readouts, the schedule table, gas use and warnings.
Save step The planner’s third step Naming the plan, saving it, sharing it with a team.
A saved plan The Plans drawer, or a link someone sent you The same planner, opened on that plan.
Gas blender Reached from the gas tools and from links; it is not on the rail Filling a cylinder to a target mix from what is already in it.
New dive plan dialog The New action in the Plans drawer, or the centre button on a phone Naming a new plan.

Dive log

Screen How you reach it What is there
Dive computers Rail → Logs The computers you have paired, and the controls to scan for and connect to one. Bluetooth needs the desktop or mobile app; see Where DiveLogic runs.
Dives from one computer Choose a computer in the Logs drawer The dives on that computer and the ones already downloaded.
One dive Choose a dive The recorded profile, its readings and its details.

Post-dive review

Screen How you reach it What is there
Reviews Rail → Post-Dive Every review you have started.
One review Choose a plan from the list The questionnaire, the evidence behind the assessment, and the plan-versus-actual comparison.

Tunang

Screen How you reach it What is there
Chat Rail → Chat A new conversation.
A saved conversation Choose it in the Chat drawer That conversation, with its history.

Conversations are stored against your account, so they follow you between devices. See Asking Tunang.

Courses (instructor tools)

Screen How you reach it What is there
Courses Rail → Courses Courses you are enrolled on, and, with instructor tools, the ones you teach.
One course Choose a course That course’s students, dives and progress. Opening one of its dives opens the planner.

Without instructor tools the courses you are enrolled on still list; the teaching half is replaced by a link to your subscription.

Ledger (instructor tools)

Screen How you reach it What is there
Invoices Rail → Ledger The invoice list; this is where Ledger opens.
Customers Ledger → Customers Customer records.
Catalogue Ledger → Catalogue The products and services you invoice for.
Account Ledger → Account The account your payouts arrive in.
Invoice editor Open an invoice One invoice, on the full canvas.

Without instructor tools the section links to your subscription. With the entitlement but no business set up yet, it offers to create one.

Settings

Reached from your account chip at the foot of the rail. Nothing about a dive lives here; algorithm, gradient factors, rates, water type, breathing rates and CCR setpoints all belong to the plan that uses them.

Tab What is there
Profile Your name, email, profile picture and diver profile.
Security Password, two-factor authentication, recovery codes, active sessions.
Preferences Application preferences.
Subscription Your tier, its allowances, and both instructor-tools gates.
Billing Payment method and past invoices.

Elsewhere

Screen How you reach it
Notifications The bell. On a phone it is a full screen of its own; on a desktop it is a dropdown with the same rows.
Sign in The only screen you see signed out.

Four surfaces are dialogs rather than screens, so they cannot be linked to or brought back by reloading: the new dive plan dialog, the invite divers dialog, the delete confirmation, and the welcome walkthrough. A plan another diver shares with you opens over the planner. See Team plans.
