The CCR Settings section appears only on a plan created in rebreather mode, between Environment and ICD Safety, under the subtitle Setpoints for each phase, and bailout planning rates. It holds three cards; the rebreather pages cover all three in depth. An open-circuit plan does not have this section at all: go on to the Review step.
Setpoint Settings
The first card sets the oxygen partial pressure the loop is held at, phase by phase. Each field is in bar and accepts 0.2 to 1.6.
Setpoint Settings
Fixed ppO₂ setpoints for each phase of the dive. The deco setpoint activates from the first mandatory decompression stop through to the surface.
Override any setpoint at a specific depth. Activated when the diver reaches or passes that depth, and remains active for the rest of the dive unless overridden by a deeper setpoint.
- Descent Setpoint (bar): active from the surface, on the way down. The planner starts at 0.7 bar.
- Working Setpoint (bar): active on the bottom. The planner starts at 1.3 bar.
- Decompression Setpoint (bar): active from the first mandatory stop to the surface. The planner starts at 1.3 bar.
- Custom Depth Setpoints: any number of overrides, each a Depth (m) and a Setpoint (bar), added with Add Custom Setpoint. An override activates when the diver reaches or passes that depth and stays active for the rest of the dive unless a deeper one replaces it.
The setpoint fixes the inert fraction of what you are breathing at every depth, which makes it the largest single lever on a closed-circuit schedule. Read Setpoints before choosing one.
Bailout SAC Rates
The second card holds the two consumption rates the open-circuit ascent is estimated at: Working SAC (L/min), starting at 45, and Bailout SAC (L/min), starting at 25. Both accept 5 to 60 L/min. They are covered with the loop’s own rates on Breathing rates, and the scenarios they feed are on Bailout scenarios.
Scrubber
The third card takes one field, Scrubber Duration in minutes: the rated life of the CO₂ absorbent you are diving. Left empty, nothing is tracked. Filled in, the planner compares it against the dive’s runtime: a warning as the dive runs into the final 60 minutes of scrubber life, another at the final 30, and an error when the runtime exceeds the rating outright.
